Tell me about the best experience you had supporting your community?
I love when I get the opportunity to go to different schools and talk about Jamba’s F.I.B.E.R. and how the students can use F.I.B.E.R. to excel in school.
(Yes, I dress in the Banana Man Outfit!)
What makes you feel good about working at Jamba?
I love working at Jamba because my hard work and passion never goes unnoticed. I truly feel that Jamba is invested in me and cares for my personal and professional development. I’m lucky that I have a company I love going to work for.
If you were a Jamba smoothie, which one would you be?
I am a dreamer, so for sure I would be the Strawberry Dreamin’. It kind of makes sense doesn’t it? LOL
What would you tell someone considering working at Jamba?
Do it! The vibe, from the Support Center team all the way down to the part time team member, is one of support. We are all in this together, and it truly feels like that.
What is one of your best feel good moments working at Jamba?
I have had many, but the same theme resides. It really makes me feel good when a customer personally asks for the manager and tells me that their Jamba experience was truly “WOW!” I feel so good that they gave my team a chance to make an impression like that.

Tell me about the best experience you had supporting your community?
We raised a lot of money for our community last year and are on track this year – many groups! Every time we are at an event, they are so grateful for us being there and thank us over and over! It’s amazing!
If you could make any flavor of smoothie you like, what would you make?
Well- we call it the Laura Lee Special!!! Acai, pomegranate juice, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. Boost it up baby!! All fruit nothing but the fruit!!
What would you tell someone considering working at Jamba?
Give 100% and you will get 100% .You can be creative and think outside the box. You can take ownership and share ideas…Jamba listens to our feedback

Tell me about the best experience you had supporting your community?
I’ve worked a lot in my community in the past but one of my favorites is being a part of the SPARE (Recycling) club at my high school that bought 25 acres of Amazon Rainforest, making us one of the first carbon neutral schools in the nation.
What makes you feel good about working at Jamba?
That a person can come into Jamba Juice and leave with their day being a little bit better…I love being a part of that. Plus, I work in a place that always smells fresh and fruity. How awesome is that?
What would you tell someone considering working at Jamba?
Don’t consider it, just do it; I’ve been at Jamba Willow Glen for over three years and still love my job!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
People. I love all the interaction I have with people every day, both the customers and my team. And of course, I have a great manager that I work really well with
Kayla, General Manager
My favorite Jamba customer is a 4 year old boy who often comes in after preschool. His dad always gets him a Bright Eyed Blueberry and an Oatcake. He’s our store’s favorite customer because he knows all of us and knows what he wants. For him to already have the habit of enjoying the ingredients that are better for him is a thing to celebrate.
If I was stranded on a deserted island I’d want a Jamba Baseball cap because it would protect me from the inevitable sun I would encounter. If not a baseball cap then maybe some Organic granola, because if I needed a friend I could offer some to a parrot or some other tropical creature and we could chill together on the beach.
If I were a Jamba smoothie I would be a Caribbean Passion because I got a little sweetness and a little tanginess.
The number of opportunities Jamba has allotted not only me but many of my fellow team members are profound. After holding almost every position within a store I can tell you that the advancement process has not only given me the chance to succeed but has given me a better perspective for my future career opportunities. Jamba makes sure that every team member is set up for success.
My favorite part of my job is my team. We’ve become a healthy, happy family. When the going gets tough, we all are there to get the job done together. We have great teamwork that makes our smoothies taste better and lets our customers have a jammin’ time when they’re in our store. I know that we all share the same goal and we’re all willing to give 100% to reach it. Who could ask for more?
Jesse, General Manager

A typical day at Jamba for me really starts and ends with a smile. When I walk into my Jamba I get swept up in the overwhelming energy and positivity. Most of my day is spent engaging with our guests and coaching and encouraging my team. Making smoothies and serving great food is really just a means to an end, which is inspiring and simplifying healthy living!
What makes you feel good outside of work?
Jamba’s flexibility also allows a great balance for out of work life. Being able to lead a healthy, active lifestyle is paired very well with working for a healthy lifestyle brand. Being able to spend quality time with my family AND working for a great company makes Jamba a great fit for my life.
What would you tell someone considering working at Jamba?
I started my career with Jamba at a company owned store and I now work for a franchisee. I can tell you that Jamba can lead to a great career. It’s fun and challenging, has a great culture, passionate people, amazing products, and a flexible work schedule. It’s really easy to get passionate about such a great company, especially when we are doing things that are truly good for people on a daily basis.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is working directly with my customers and my team members. My team makes my job easy. By leading with passion, integrity, and energy they follow my guidance and give the best service in the industry. I can see the impact of the work I do on a daily basis, and that gives me great pride. At Jamba we are making a difference, one smoothie at a time.
What is one of your best feel good moments working at Jamba?
One of my best feel good moments working at Jamba was being at the 20th Anniversary Celebration at our original store in San Luis Obispo. Seeing where the passion started and hearing the story from Jamba’s founders was truly inspiring. One thing that is apparent is that this is only the beginning of Jamba’s journey. With passionate people, a strong brand, great culture, and clear vision we can really become the worlds leading healthy lifestyle brand.

What is a typical day at Jamba like for you?
A typical day at Jamba is that I’m always having fun. I get the chance to work for a company that encourages you to be energetic, to be working close with our communities, and producing great results. I’m always having a lot of fun training new Team Members and always developing my staff to better the team and morale.
If you were a Jamba smoothie, which one would you be?
I would be a Strawberry Surfrider. I choose it because I was born and raised on the islands and the taste profile of the smoothie is just like my personality, not too sweet and not to sour.

Jamba is a really great company to work for. You can expect to get a lot of development and growth and be part of a company that is truly out there for the community. You’re not only there to make smoothies and other great products but have so much fun doing it.
What opportunities for advancement are there at Jamba?
I started off as a team member 3 years ago in Hawaii. Then a year and a half later I became a Store Manager at the age of 19. It really goes to show that Jamba really takes care of their employee and really develops you to get you places.
What is one of your best feel good moments working at Jamba?
One of my best feel good moments is when I got to see three of my Team Members be promoted to store managers in the short time I’ve been a Manager. Being able to keep that track of success happen and continuously promoting great people.
